The spreading sky, the freedom... Neither of them has changed. Everyone lives, carrying his own worry, desperately holding his broken heart.
But tomorrow's a better day =D

my way to celebrate mid autumn fest
    Sunday, September 26, 2010 @ 8:13 PM

I don't really get the chance to celebrate any festive days - specially Chinese ones - after I started 'independent life'. No one really bothers to celebrate them anyway. But then again, whenever we feel tired, we always think of our childhood where we were the happiest. So this year, Siew Lin, Hooi Ling, Kelly and I decided to make our own version of Mid Autumn Fest.

Not that it was any difference from others. But on that day, we made sure we don't stay at office for long. Hahahaha~ Then off we went to the Park at Amcorp Mall.

Lucky for us, it wasn't rain that day. So when we arrived, there were actually a few groups of people started putting on lanterns.

I never realized lights from candles can be so beautiful. It was pitch dark out there, but we basically lighting up the space.

It really does look like in a movie, where the guy putting on thousands of candles to form a heart shape, then proposing to the girl. Very romantic! But we have no intention on forming a heart shape. We just adding some lights to the steps, hoping people inside LRT can see them when they pass by.

I'm in love!!!It was a pretty sight. And we get to talked to this uncle and aunt, whose children are all on their own already. Aren't we too???

    Not forgetting the lanterns!

The most basic lanterns of ours. Of course, those children there have very high tech lanterns. You know, those using batteries and comes with music.

Here's me and Kelly with our lanterns, behind us is none other than Amcorp Mall.

For a night, we forgotten about the harsh reality. LOOOOL~~ We ate mooncakes under the spotlight of the moon.

Bubbles and pretty little lights... they are good combination!

And it really feels different playing lanterns now then when we were young. Those time, we were innocent, we just followed through. But now, we try to be innocent, we act like kids again. Because we know, when the sun comes out the next day, it's time to face reality again.

And Kelly bought us Kong Ming lantern a.k.a. Sky lantern. My first time to have this kind of lanterns during this festive day! I scribbled all my wishes on it, hoping they managed to reach to the sky above and making my dreams come true!

And here we go... It went up, up and up... Even passed by the moon.

It was truly the best Mid Autumn Fest I had so far!
